—Carlos A. Fernandez, MBA, PHR, senior recruiter, Houston Methodist
"I am one of the students who attended McNeil's leadership workshop that you spoke at on Wednesday. I can honestly say that your lecture on resume writing was one of, if not the, most influential section of lectures I attended in those two days. I updated my resume today and it looks fantastic thanks to you. Your book is extremely helpful, too, because I can keep it for my whole career for whenever I need to update my accomplishments, experience, etc. After talking to others students, there was a clear consensus that your presentation was incredibly helpful to them as well. Thank you for taking the time to speak with and assist us in how to improve our chances of getting an interview."
—Amber Morris, current student, Penn State University
"L. Xavier Cano does an excellent job in providing a step-by-step approach to building a resume visually from top to bottom. I found that this book would proactively answer questions as I read along. Through the various methods he uses to point to different formats and options for building a resume, Xavier does a great job in keeping the reader actively engaged. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to build or update an impressionable and high-quality resume."
